I’m Daphne of Dainen Creative, nice to meet you!
I’m an Illustrator, Designer, UX student and lover of all things creative. I was born in Malaysia and currently based in Melbourne, Australia.
My formative years were spent between Malaysia, Melbourne and Singapore, before graduating from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Arts (Multimedia) and Graduate Diploma in Graphic Design. In my many years working with an agency, I have had the privilege of working with both large and small companies to produce high quality marketing materials. This includes illustration, branding, graphic and website design, conceptual artwork and even animation.
At the same time, I have also been working independently offering freelance design services. These have been a rich source of challenges both personal and professional.
Currently, I’m working on adding industry standard User Experience skills to my abilities. I find research and discovery immensely interesting. At the same time prioritising finding the right solutions to the right problems is fascinating!
When I’m not learning the trade, I am actively creating my own line of illustrations for stationary and office materials. These will be available direct to market.
With over 13 years of experience, I offer services on multiple levels. Efficient, succinct and powerful visual communication is my passion, from illustration to animation, website design to print.
